Return Policy

At Plotterpix, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy outlines how to return products and receive refunds or exchanges.

1. Return Window

30-Day Return Period

You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. After 30 days, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

EU Consumer Rights

EU customers have a statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU. We extend this to 30 days as a customer courtesy.

2. Eligible Items

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and Undamaged: Products must be in the same condition as received
  • Original Packaging: Items should be returned in their original packaging when possible
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide your order number or receipt
  • Complete: All included accessories, manuals, and components must be included

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain products cannot be returned for hygiene, customization, or practical reasons:

Custom Drawings

  • Personalized Artwork: Custom drawings created from your photos are final sale and cannot be returned, as they are made specifically for you
  • Exception: Defective or damaged custom drawings may be eligible for replacement or refund (see Section 7)

Digital Products

  • Downloadable content or digital files cannot be returned once accessed

Opened Consumables

  • Pens, inks, and other consumable items that have been opened or used

4. How to Initiate a Return

Follow these steps to return a product:

Step 1: Request Return Authorization

Contact our customer support team at returns@plotterpix.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photo(s) of the item if damaged or defective

We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions within 1-2 business days.

Step 2: Package the Item

  • Securely pack the item in its original packaging or similar protective material
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and components
  • Include a copy of your receipt or order confirmation
  • Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package

Step 3: Ship the Return

  • Ship the item to the address provided in your RMA email
  • Use a trackable shipping service and retain your shipping receipt
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error

Important: Do not send your return without an RMA number. Returns without authorization may be refused or delayed.

5. Refund Process

Inspection

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item within 3-5 business days. We will notify you by email when the inspection is complete.

Approval and Processing

If your return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
  • You will receive the full product price minus any applicable restocking fees
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Restocking Fee

A 10% restocking fee may apply to returned items that are opened but unused, or returns without original packaging. This fee covers the cost of repackaging and inspection.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted for items that are returned in less than perfect condition, including:

  • Items with signs of use or wear
  • Items missing accessories or components
  • Items damaged during return shipping due to inadequate packaging

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product or size:

  1. Return the original item for a refund (following the process above)
  2. Place a new order for the desired product

This ensures you receive your new product as quickly as possible without waiting for the return to be processed.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

Report Immediately

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@plotterpix.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Description of the damage or defect
  • Clear photos showing the issue
  • Photos of the shipping box/packaging if relevant

Resolution Options

For damaged or defective items, we will offer:

  • Replacement: We will send a replacement item at no charge
  • Repair: For minor defects, we may offer repair service
  • Full Refund: If replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund including original shipping costs

We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for damaged or defective items. You will not be charged for return shipping in these cases.

Manufacturing Defects

Our products are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or accidents
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Consumable items (pens, ink)
